First indroduced to the Independant Insurance Agency system in 1967 when she joined Lenzen Insurance as a secretary. Lenzen Insurance was a continuation of an Agency that was started by E. C. Lenzen in 1934. The Agency has changed names and ownership over the years, but we have maintained a constant presence in the City of Carver for over 74 years. Barb is excited about being a member of the new team going forward. With additional Agents representing more A+ Best rated Companies, we are able to offer clients an even broader range of products, companies and services to fit their individual needs. Barb will continue to offer Life and Long Term Care Products through Mass Mutual.
In addition to Insurance, Barb has been a real Estate Broker for more than 20 years and has had the pleasure of helping many families find their dream home in Carver and the surrounding areas. She believes strongly in giving back to the Community in which she lives and works, so: Presently serves on the Carver Task Force, Chairs the Carver Business Council, serves on the Chaska Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, serves as the liason for the Business Community at East Union Elementary School, serves as an Advisory Board Member of Klein Bank Board of Directors, and serves on the Property and Fianance Board at St. Nicholas Church. Barb is also a member of Carver Second Alarm and recently returned home from a Medical Mission trip with Smile Network Inc. to Cuernavarca, Mexico.
Married to Darrel for 44 years, resides in a historic home in Carver, has three grown children and four grandchildren. Loves to spend leisure time reading, hiking, cooking, traveling and spending time at their cabin in Round Lake with family, friends and especially the grandchildren.
